PNut (Percy), brother in the FFMC, trusts very few people and lives the life of a loner, letting few people in. When PNut sees bruises on Joey’s face, his code of beliefs requires him to take immediate action. After helping Joey move into his place, he teaches her stepfather a lesson he won’t soon forget. Even though they had lived next to one another for years, PNut finally begins to see that Joey is no longer the young and awkward teen she used to be and for the first time in his life, begins having feelings for a woman.
Scott Hildreth outdid himself with this book. PNut had so much more depth than I expected from the interactions we saw in prior books. While he portrays himself as a loner and tough as nails biker, he also cares for his elderly mother and lets his neighbor move in when she has nowhere else to go. Joey is smart and tough as nails, but extremely vulnerable due to not having a family who cares for her present in her life as well as scars that cover her legs. She can take care of herself, but for the first time since her mother died years before, she doesn’t have to.
The more PNut and Joey hang out, they more the discover just how well they fit together. It was fabulous to watch them both grow as individuals and as a new couple due to them bringing out the best qualities in one another.
I also enjoyed the surprise tie in with the Selected Sinners as PNut helps Joey learn more about her past.
This was a brilliant addition to the FFMC series. These books are raw and gritty and at times, emotionally tough, yet always leave you feeling lighter and freer by the end of the book.

I will admit as usual, Scott Hildreth has melted my heart. Oh how I wanted P-Nut's story. The loner. The one who can stand toe to toe with Eddie, Smokey's girl, making me laugh at the absurdity of their crazy a$$ banter. But getting the man underneath the kutte, the man who only says what's needed and when needed, was quite the wonderful ride.
There is a great slow burn kind of love simmering between Percy and his neighbor Joey. Fast friends all those years ago, who would have thought they would be perfect for each other, despite their age difference. But he becomes her protector and she becomes his everything and the ease at which they just are is just beautiful.
The scars they each bear, both emotional and physical are tenderly cared by one another. And I'm again in awe that the author used his own personal experience to express his own pain through his characters. There is such ease to this story. It flows effortlessly and I found myself relaxed and happy throughout.
For me, this one is not high on the angst meter and I was perfectly fine with that. The steam factor is also just right with humor always finding its way to make each scene that much more real.
I was not disappointed and I will continue to love these sexy 1%ers as long as Scott Hildreth writes them.
Nuts is anything but. It's an easygoing unexpected kind of love that is sure to make your heart very happy.

Although I have loved everything from this author so far, I honestly have to say this one is by far my favorite. There were a couple editing issues, but nothing you can't look past. I can imagine the emotions in writing about a burn victim are still raw for Scott, but he executed it wonderfully. You get wrapped up in everything else about the character, and the storyline doesn't focus on just her burns. Which is how it should be. Than you to this author for providing this character with a personality, emotions and a brain, instead of making the whole story about her being a "victim".
I don't know how he does it...but Scott's heroes just get better and better. P-But is one crazy mofo but when it comes down to it he's exactly the right person to have on your side. Joey's back story just...I don't know how Scott does it!! Loved Joey and the Nut together.
If I'm asked do I like the genre of MC Romance books my response is no I don't. Do I like books with guys that ride bikes yep but those that are based around the "MC" lifestyle just have rubbed me wrong in the past. I Just finished a new book "Nuts" by SD Hildreth. The first and only book I've read from him was his previous release titled "Rigid" and I thought I loved that one but the character P-Nut stole my heart and beat out his best friend Smokey for the top spot. I cried at the end. This very talented author has made me look at MC Romance in a different light. Now to devour the remaining books in this series that were released earlier.

P nut is just that nuts but would u want him any other way. I wouldn't. He made me laugh with some of his antics and made me cry with his words.
Joey.... the courage and the strength off this girl could give the boost one might need. She is the perfect match for him and his quirky ways. I love that there is an age difference. I'm a sucker for older men. So i can relate to Joey in more ways than one. I lost my dad not quite as young. I married my husband who is 9 years older who has many of the same sense of humor as p nut..
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book now im sad because it's over. But that's alright because this book has become my favorite in the series. P nut is my favorite in a sense that i hardly ever write a review but this one I couldn't help myself but to talk about P nut a little more.

I love Scott Hildreth! P-Nut and Joey are my new favorite couple! The emotion in this book can be overwhelming! This book will make you laugh, it will make you clench your fists in rage and it will make you sigh in awe. It will make your eyes well in tears and your heart sing in joy! If you haven't read Scott Hildreth before do yourself a favor and start!
